Wedding Items Purchase for the preparation of the Big Day

Wow! wedding is a event that need to spend alot lot. . . $$$ but i think is worth it. . Once in a life time. .

So various items are needed to purchase for the success of the event. . The 1st on the list . . is none other than Our WEDDING Ring. . This pair of wedding ring is purchased from POH HENG. . is a combination of white and yellow gold and with a diamond in the center. . We choosen this pair of ring is because of certain meaning. .

As can see there is a hole in the middle of the rings. . which symbolize the heart. . then the diamond with the line of yellow gold. . symbolize you are the one that strike my heart just like shooting star. . which will be keep in my heart. . ForEVER. .wow! so mushy. . But. . WE LIKE IT =)

Such a beautiful and meaningful pair of ring. . will need to go with a nice ring pillow during the ceremony. Hmm. . i went to do research on the internet. . all the ring pillow is pretty EX. . and some not what i want. . furthermore i also haven met Kenny and Leslie. as they custom made ring pillow for couple (http://www.idearcollection.com/ ) . . so I somehow DIY myself. . as shown below. . Look quite ok right?

Hmm. . Taken care of the love token. . Is time to go buy shoe. . for both the day and evening gown for me. Frankly speaking. . looking for bride's shoe some can be very very EX. . $200 over per pair. . some can be affordable. . $80+/pair. . so it depend on which you can afford or when you want it. I spend about 3weeks shop around and compare, finally bought the two pair as shown, the white pearl is for the day gown, the silver one is for the evening gown. =)

Oh! dun forget about my bee (groom) shoe as well, as for guy i think quite simple get a pair of black black leather shoe will be enough. But my bee. . ha ha! still spending pretty long time choosing, coz he wan to find a comfortable pair.

I also bought some figures. . that symbolizes LOVE and WEDDING to be put into our wedding room. . to add on the event feeling. . look nice right? I also like these very very much!

I also heard that need to buy towel during exchange of gift haha. . so i ask kenny and Leslie to help me do up a pair of towel with bride and groom and our name. . nice right?

Wow. . beside all these. . i think that day. . i will receive Ang Bao. . that the most important elements. . haha so will need ang bao box to secure hehe. . kenny and Leslie. . did a great job in helping me to design (decorate) the ang bao box. . I also help a bit. . haha. . the bear i provided so contribute a little =)

Not forgetting the guest and my dearest sisters. . .

Oh! one another important things. . the bedside lamps. . heard from my mum.. it symbolize. . childern. . remember dun buy too small. . not good!

I also bought some wedding couple cups. . dishes. . so during wedding Bee and I can use it. . so nice right. . i specially like the cartoon wedding couple the groom always mouth big big and smile until cant see the eyes and the bride is always so shy. . he he

Hmm. . the same series. . i also bought the teapot set. . so can use it during the tea ceremony. . to make it different from others wedding. . IDEA!

Wedding photo shooting =)

Wow! this is another exciting event. . =) yet. . =/ another tiring whole day.

We get to take our once in a life time wedding photo and .. i also took my graduation (hons degree) photo. . . Is so much fun with my bee and family. However, so sad no outside camera is allowed. . so i cant upload any photos up until i gotten the soft copy from the bridal shop. =)

But the one that was shown for me only. . was taken secertly by my bee when we are having outdoor shooting. . nice right =) coz the photographer is busy shooting me. . haha. . cant control my bee movement.

List of Major things. . (elements) for the wedding

Hmm. . . Is time to plan for the major elements needed for the successful of the wedding:

1) Bridal Shop. . (Golden Horse Award. . gotten the remarks from various brides. . quite a good one) http://www.goldenhorseawards.com.sg/

2) Banquet. . (Grand Copthorne Waterfront. . wow! the grand Ballroom is great. . but sian not enough tables =( lucky they have smaller ballroom to accomodate smaller functions like us... hehe) http://www.millenniumhotels.com.sg/grandcopthornewaterfront/index.html

This is the hotel setting and the lounge for the cocktail party. . pretty nice right?

3) Solemnizer. . (Mr Chan. . he is the one that i gotten reply and agreement after facing rejection from 20 over solemnizer.. =( quite sad right? so next time anyone want to find solemnizer will need to start early maybe 6 months earlier. . KS!)

4) MC. . . emcee la. . (As I cant friend or relative to help me to host the wedding dinner. . so i find the professional to help me out with this job. . the person is none other than . . carole. . haha. . She is not just only my emcee for the dinner. . she also provide me with many advises and arrangement of the planning process of the wedding event itself =)

5) Printing of wedding cards. . hmm . . although the wedding cards are given free. . but the printing still have to be done by those experts as me and my bee have tried out printing on our own. . the result turns out to be CMI (cannot make it). I can say that the expert did a great job. . haha. . our wedding cards seem pro! http://www.tdragoncards.com/

6) Last but not least. . finding a group of friends that are willing to help me out during my wedding itself (whole day i mean). . so far i have found. .

Xueling (my Maid of Honour) a great help from her especially her mum. . bring me here and there to buy affordable things and share of experiences =) must take a photo of her and put on this blog so in the future anyone needs help she can give consultation haha. . per min charges =).

Sandy is my another very the good friend . . haha. . she is married so have pretty much experience into this. . furthermore we are of the same sign. . Gemini so we tend to think alike =).

Leslie and Kenny this pretty cute and lovely couple who is going to get married end of this year. . I know them. . when i go to their shop to buy wedding related stuff.. their shop is highly recommended to go . . as they carry many latest wedding stuff. . so all Brides and Groom to Be. . can go there have a look (they are located at level 4 of Far East Plaza, the building beside Hyatt hotel, their shop name is I Dear Collection). They also have sign up the same package as us in the same hotel. . so Qiao right? Hmm. . Let me see the stuffs they carry from ring pillow. . to ang Bao box. . any many many more. . i think my total number of toes and fingers also not enough. . =/ http://www.idearcollection.com/

O ya! not forgetting eric and priscilla! haha! we four are very good buddy! discuss things. . here and there.. many many things. . really thanks for pris help to find the bus contact and share with me many many things. . and. . the wedding mickey and minnie. . Oh My God that my dream ones. .

The list of people go on and go blah blah blah!. . as i will need to thanks everyone who is going or has already been helping out. . in my wedding. . =)

Wow. . another 100days to go to my wedding. . just cant wait for the day to come. . I will be putting in more pics about the things i bought for the wedding. . and the latest event happening. . especially the planning process and the wedding photo =)
